"I like it like that" Salsa Series is returning to Far Out Lounge and Stage, bringing a high - energy night of live Latin music and dancing on Friday August 7th, 2026.
Presented by Jose Santoyo and Top Shelf Latin Entertainment, this event features the vibrant Cuban Salsa sounds of Sofrito y su Melao performing live on stage. Come celebrate a broad spectrum of Latin rhythms, including traditional Salsa, Son, and Bolero, alongside the infectious beats of Bachata, Rumba, Merengue, Cumbia, and more.
Atmosphere: This award-winning South Austin venue offers a huge outdoor patio' live performance stage, onsite food trucks, and multiple bars serving craft cocktails and cold drinks.
What to expect
Live Music Variety: A full range of Latin musical traditions from upbeat dance anthems to soulful, rhythm classics.

Enjoy your favorite classic Salsa music with such artists including FANIA ALL-STARS, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Frankie Ruiz, Grupo Niche and many many more.
Dance on one of the largest dance floors in the Austin area featuring a sprawling 5,000-square-foot massive wooden dance floor, with pro sound throughout the venue.
Complimentary Beginner/Intermediate Salsa class at 8:00 pm provided by Top Shelf Latin Entertainment.
